Rent a car in Bulgaria - Terms and Conditions

Personal and Driving Requirements:
Drivers are required to present a valid driving licence issued at least one year before, a valid identification document and to be at least 21 years of age.

Rental Period:
The minimum rental period is determined as 1 day (24 hours). Rates are based on 24 hours period, starting form the time of rental. Upon return - 1 hour delay is free of charge. Delays or use of additional hours from 1 to 4, will be charged as a half day of respective rate; more than 4 hours - as one additional full day rent.

Booking
Bookings could be made by means of "on-line" request, e-mail, Fax-message or telephone call. It is recommended an advance payment of €35 as "Booking-Guaranty" to be made in order to guarantee the Reservation. Bookings made less than 24 hours before starting period, must be done on the "Hot-line Telephone" only.

Pricing and Method of Payment
Prices are in Euros. After receipt of "Reservation Availability Confirmation" of the booking with a reference number, the prices are guaranteed. Payments could be done cash or by Credit Card at the time of renting. Prepayment or "Booking-Guaranty" (€35 Online deposit)may be done "on-line" by Credit Card through the Web-side (please select in "Payment type" - "credit card") or bank transfer

Internet Security  
We are committed to the highest levels of Internet security and utilize SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology on all booking forms. When using one of our secured forms, you will see a "padlock icon" displayed on your browser, indicating our secure servers are in operation.

Confirmation of "on-line" request
Each "on-line" request will be confirmed by return e-mail with reference number of the Reservation. A printed copy of should be presented by rent of the car. When the type of requested car is not available, the booking could be rejected or will be offered alternative car, which will be reserved after reconfirmation of acceptance.

Modification or Cancellation of Booking
Any amendments or Modification of confirmed Reservation must be done in due time by e-mail and reconfirmed by return mail.
Cancellation of a Reservation must be done at least 48 hours before renting period and all paid amounts will be refunded in full. By "no-show" or cancellation less than 48 hours, the Booking-Guaranty of €35 will be kept back or same amount will be deducted from Prepayment.

Change of car by confirmed reservation
If it is becomes impossible to be provided the confirmed class of car, it will be ensured car of higher class as free of charge "up-grade".

Insurances and Taxies
All cars have Insurance covering "Third Party Liability", "Damage and Theft" and "Personal accident". Daily rates include Vignette and route taxes for Bulgaria and "Collision Damage Waiver" (CDW) and "Theft protection" (TP) . CDW and TP limit rental's liability to the amount of Non-Waivable Excess (Deposit), if rental vehicle gets total or partial damaged or loss.

Deposit ( Excess )
Deposit is required for all rentals. The deposit depends of the type of the vechicle, as it is specified in the price list. By payment with Credit Card, the amount will be blocked until end of renting period only. The full amount of the Deposit or a part of it could be withheld in the following cases:

• damages of the suspension mechanisms of the vehicle - underbody, tires, rim covers;
• in case of theft, including CD player and GPS-navigation (if removable) if all necessary documents from the authorities are not presented;
• damages or theft to the vehicle as a result of an accident without a protocol from the authorities;

Delivery/Collection of the Vehicle:
Wherever in Sofia the delivery/collection is free of charge except from 22:00 to 07:00 where the aplicable charge is €10. Delivery /colection at all points out of Sofia - €0.25 per/km. Fix prices for delivery or collection: Bansko - €35; Plovdiv - €30; Bourgas - €50; Varna - €60;

Additional/Personal Driver:
Additional drivers are free of charge.
Personal driver for the duration of the lease of your vehicle is €15 per day. For traveling outside Sofia €15 per day plus driver daily expenses must cover by the tenant.

Fuel:
Fuel is not included in the price. All vehicles are with full petrol tank. If upon return the vehicle is without full petrol tank the difference is paid by the renter.

Additional Equipment - free of charge:
Baby seat, Luggage carrier, Snow chains, rout map.

"Additional Equipment GPS navigation - charge:
Rent a car with GPS for Bulgaria for only€5 per day,but not more than €50, regardless of the rental period (€200 deposit) It works straight out of the box - just plug it into the dashboard, switch it on and go. Great features include a large colour screen, voice instructions as well as information on all sorts of useful places such as petrol stations, car parks and hotels.

Travelling Abroad:
On request only. Deposit: €500 and tax: €50.

Lost Documents or Keys:
In case the car's registration documents or keys are lost - the tenant pays the value plus charge of €50.
